All of the education offered at the Regional Learning Centre has been created with the community sector in mind.

Our education sessions are tailored for staff providing personal care in the community setting. This includes staff from adult day programs, personal support workers (PSWs), home support workers (HSWs), community managers, and supervisors.

If you don't have enough space for training, we can run the session at the Regional Learning Centre. Or if you prefer, we can come to you.

A member of our team will review your request, and come up with custom pricing.

Our organization requires training in the evening/on weekends. Is this possible?

Training sessions are typically scheduled during RLC business hours; Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. We are able to offer training in the evenings and on weekends based on educator availability.

Please email us at info@regionallearningcentre.ca before completing your purchase if you require training to be scheduled outside of business hours.

Why should my organization choose the RLC for training?

Good question!

The Regional Learning Centre team has deep research and healthcare sector experience and rigorous standards. All of the above modules have been created in-house and thoroughly reviewed by an interdisciplinary team of regulated health professionals.

We use the principles of adult learning to guide the development and review of all of our materials. Ensuring that all of the content is relevant and timely is an extremely high priority for our team.

We also recognize that training is not always the answer to addressing problems. If we feel that our training is not a good fit for your needs, we will happily redirect you to other options.

Finally, we strongly believe in giving back and a portion of all proceeds will be reinvested into the community support services sector.

We Believe That

confident and knowledgeable staff have an increased ability to transfer the skills they have learned to their work and provide safer and effective care for consumers in the community.
