This 3 hour course explores the concept of professionalism as it relates to the community support worker’s practice
Topics covered:
- Legal and moral rights of the community care client and the principles that guide community support workers’ practice
- The Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) and the unregulated care provider’s (UCP) Scope of Practice
- The therapeutic relationship and client centered care including Communication, Professional Boundaries, Privacy & Confidentiality and Ethics
This purchase includes:
- Access to virtual facilitator-led Professionalism in the Workplace training for up to 200 staff (select the number of staff requiring training below)
- Set up custom training dates and times just for your staff
Training sessions are typically scheduled Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. We are able to offer training in the evenings and on weekends based on educator availability. Email us at info@regionallearningcentre.ca before completing your purchase if you require training to be scheduled outside of business hours.
