This 3 hour course explores Heart Failure and Stroke at an introductory level. Topics covered:
- The difference between acute and chronic disease
- The physiological changes that occur with each chronic disease
- How to identify and respond to changes in client's condition
- How the community worker can support client's self-management efforts
This purchase includes:
- Access to virtual facilitator-led training on Heart Failure and Stroke for up to 200 staff (select the number of staff requiring training below)
- Set up custom training dates and times just for your staff
Training sessions are typically scheduled Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. We are able to offer training in the evenings and on weekends based on educator availability.
